We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve not only crafting delicious drinks but also providing outstanding customer service and maintaining the cleanliness of the workspace.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist with ordering when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Uphold cleanliness standards by regularly cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Demonstrate basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic candidates willing to learn.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy are necessary.
- Experience using POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not mandatory.
