What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP position at Child Adult Resource Services?
Seeking DSPs for part time/full time evenings/overnights and weekends
The DSP is responsible for supporting and assisting with the daily activities. This is an inclusive, mentor-based position to assist with daily life skills to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Applicants need to have positive energy, role-modeling skills, and be able to perform in home or community environment. Candidates should be flexible with changes in routine, work well as part of a team, and have a passion for helping others. Experience working with MR/DD – preferred but not required Experience in supervising, assisting, training people with disabilities in daily living activities (or) supervising learning activities of any age group is preferred but not required.
