Overview
Welcome! Child and Adult Psychiatry is an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic that hosts group / individual PRP sessions. We are seeking a Counselor who can come In-Person to our Joppa location. No degree necessary, high school graduate required. As a Counselor, you will work with children and adults, providing support to the challenges in their life. You will organize activities and host group sessions where you guide a mental health discussion that encourages the patients to participate to share about their lives and feel heard.

Responsibilities
- Comfortable with individual and group counseling sessions to address clients' needs.
- Implement behavior management strategies tailored to each client.
- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing acute distress.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote healing and personal growth.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Support clients with disabilities by providing tailored counseling strategies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.
