SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The Program Supervisor I is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the services of the program and contracts assigned. Provides documentation and required reports in a timely, professional and accurate manner. Assists in the development and negotiation of contracts; Develops and implements program goals, objectives and outcomes, including monitoring the quality and quantity of services and compliance with contract, accreditation, and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for Identifying and assessing problem areas and develops recommendations with other management staff. Provides administrative support to reduce systemic barriers. Provides community leadership through networking with community leaders, funders, and advocacy groups. Attends community meetings and conducts public relations activities to enhance the image of CFS in the community. The Program Supervisor will assist in developing and implementing strategic plans as well as partner in the development of new programs and program expansion by assisting in obtaining funding and enhancing programs.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Four-Year College Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency - general major. Requires basic knowledge or training in a specialized or technical field or trade, such as social work, professional accounting, finance, business administration, and marketing
EXPERIENCE
- Over two years, up to and including four years.
- Other (Specify): Bachelors' Degree and two years' experience in direct services or case management. Experience working with functionally and cognitively impaired older adults preferred
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Detailed knowledge and experience in gerontology
