Child Care Associates (CCA), the largest child development nonprofit organization in North Texas, has served nearly 600,000 vulnerable young children and their families since 1968. Child Care Associates is a nonprofit of scale in the DFW region poised to help build a strong early childhood system, to partner with families and to build an early education infrastructure to help achieve outcomes at scale. NCTX is seeking a qualified Program Support Specialist to fill a vacancy in Denton County.
Duties
· Maintain paperwork required by client services through accurate and timely preparation, copying, filing, and tracking.
· Type correspondence, reports, forms, labels, etc.
· Maintain client and provider files.
· Sort and distribute incoming mail.
· Post outgoing mail and as assigned.
· Serve as back-up switchboard operator.
· Assist Specialists in working with clients and providers.
· Prepare packets of required forms for self-arranged orientation.
· Make appointments for orientations.
· Direct calls as needed in Program Support area.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· One (1) year work experience in secretarial and/or clerical duties, including data entry and maintenance of records.
· Access to reliable transportation necessary for delivery of mail.
· Computer proficiency required.
· Typing 45 WPM/net.
Nice To Haves
· Bilingual abilities preferred.
