Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves implementing educational programs that promote literacy, math skills, and overall child development. The Early Childhood Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to ensure the highest standards of care and education. Experience with 2's, 3's or 4's a plus!
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress in literacy, math, and other developmental areas.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss children's progress and address any concerns related to child welfare.
- Utilize special education strategies as needed to support children with varying abilities.
- Participate in curriculum development that aligns with educational standards and best practices.
- Provide early intervention strategies for children who may require additional support.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom conducive to learning.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with early childhood education trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in tutoring or teaching young children is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of literacy education techniques and curriculum development practices.
- Familiarity with special education principles and early intervention strategies.
- Strong skills in lesson planning that incorporates math and literacy activities.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that promotes child welfare.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for educating young learners and supporting their developmental needs.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
