The Director of Fund Development and Marketing:
Dedicated individual to identify, cultivate and manage relationships with potential and current donors, securing significant financial contributions to support Child Care Partners.
Duties:
Donor Cultivation and Stewardship:
Identify Prospective donors aligned with organizational goals. Initiate and maintain regular communication with donors through personalized outreach, phone calls, emails, and in person meetings. Track donor interaction and giving history within the data base.
Fundraising Activities:
Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential donors, highlighting program impact and funding needs.
Manage and execute fundraising events, including solicitations, sponsorships, and donor appeals.
Develop and implement targeted fundraising campaigns to meet annual revenue goals.
Grant Writing and management:
Identify potential grant opportunities that align with organizational priorities.
Research and draft compelling grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and support documentation.
Reporting and Analysis:
Regularly track and analyze fundraising progress against goals.
Prepare monthly reports for the Board of Directors, Executive Director and leadership team, highlighting key metrics and insights.
Identify trends and areas for improvement Fundraising Strategies.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in non-profit management, business, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Proven Experience in a fundraising role within a non-profit organization as an employee, board member, or committee member.
- Demonstrate a successful track record of securing donations.
- Experience with grant writing and management is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent Communication skills, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong writing skills and editing skills to craft persuasive proposals and donor communications.
- Proficiency in CRM Software (e.g., salesforce, Raiser's Edge) for donor data management.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
