The Role: Mid-Level Supervisor (BCBA Student Track)
A keystone role at CCBS, the Mid-Level Supervisor ensures client progress, supports behavior technicians (RBTs), and builds leadership skills essential for future BCBAs.
What You’ll Do:
- Hands-on Clinical Experience – Spend at least 75% of your time in unrestricted supervision activities (e.g., parent training, treatment planning, skills assessments).
- Develop Leadership Skills – Supervise RBTs and behavior technicians while learning effective case management.
- Enhance Your ABA Knowledge – Conduct preference assessments, implement behavior plans, and practice data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with a Team of BCBAs – Gain exposure to multiple supervisors and diverse clinical settings.
- Flexible Work Environment – Work 25-50% telehealth while getting real-world field experience.
Who We’re Looking For
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Master’s student (or recent graduate) in ABA or a related field (preferred); or
- Bachelor’s degree 2 years of relevant experience; or
- BCaBA credential
Ideal candidates will:
- Have a passion for evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming ABA practices
- Demonstrate strong communication and time management skills
- Be comfortable with technology and data collection tools (Microsoft Office, mobile apps)
- Hold or be willing to obtain RBT certification (we provide training)
- Possess a valid CA driver’s license and car insurance
- Be available Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM (flexible for master’s classes with verification)
