Our mission is to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect by creating strong and successful families.The Early Head Start Program is ready to hire a Home Visitor to join our team in our Early Education Services Department.We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals that are committed to improving the lives of children and families receiving services.In this role you will be the home visitor providing direct service to enrolled families on a weekly basis. You will use an evidence based curriculum to talk with parents on ways to improve the bond between parent and child, positive discipline techniques, and childhood development. You will work with the family to set goals they want to accomplish as well as provide resources that help support the family as a whole. Our goal is to promote self-sufficiency for the family and setting that child up for future success in life.QualificationsTo be considered you must have : Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work or related field1 year of related experience in infant / toddler education and / or family case management.Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.A personal vehicle required for daily use for travel to families' homesA clean five-year motor vehicle history and a valid Arizona Driver's license.A level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one prior to startingEnglish / Spanish capabilities required.You are a star candidate if you have the above, and : Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with technology in performing job duties.Home Visitation experience with a focus on child development a plus.Multi-tasking skills that will support proper documentation and note taking in a fast paced environmentPrior experience working with pregnant womenAs a valued member of our team, Child Crisis Arizona will provide you : Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageHealth Savings AccountFlexible Spending Account401K with company matchGenerous amount of PTO Quarterly Staff Appreciation ActivitiesTraining and ongoing professional development opportunities
