About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and creative Art Teacher (Atelierista) to guide children’s artistic exploration while supporting curriculum development. This hybrid role combines hands-on art instruction with collaboration on curriculum design during afternoon hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the atelier (art studio) and maintain a space for creativity and exploration.
- Design and implement an engaging art curriculum for toddlers through preschoolers, introducing a variety of artistic media.
- Document children’s learning through visual displays, booklets, and films in collaboration with our digital media expert.
- Support and train educators in incorporating Reggio Emilia-inspired creative expression into their classrooms.
- Facilitate curriculum development during afternoon hours, collaborating with teachers to enhance learning experiences.
- Communicate with families through a monthly bulletin, showcasing art projects and learning outcomes.
