What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at Child Development Center at Timberlake?
Independently care for and manage a group of school age children. Responsible for planning activities, assisting with crafts, setting up and cleaning area for snack, creating positive behavior management plan.
Looking for a Christ-centered, caring, energetic, patient, flexible, compassionate individual to become part of our teacher team.

Individuals should posses at least 1 year experience with children grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Must pass background checks. Possessing a CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Duties
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
- Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling.
- Enforce all administration policies and rules.
- Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
- Keep classroom and materials clean and organized.
- Let the program director know of any student absences.
- Provide active supervision at all times.
Requirements
Must have at least 1 year childcare experience.
- At be at least 18 yrs of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pursuing College Degree in Child Development, or Education Related Field or CDA is a plus
