Developmental Health Specialist
Monday - Friday 8am-4pm on site-base

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities? TopCDE is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Developmental Health Specialist to provide direct care at our Day Treatment facility (DTA) for special needs and disabled adults. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our members in developing essential skills, fostering independence, and promoting socialization.
As a Developmental Health Specialist, your primary responsibility will be providing training, supervision, and engaging activities to our members. This service is offered at our Coolidge DTA facility. In your day-to-day you will support your member in groups and in community settings, allowing our members to learn safety skills, socialize, and develop the necessary skills for independent living. You will work closely with our members, guiding them on their journey towards a fulfilling and independent life.
Requirements:
- Genuine passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Experience in providing direct care in a similar setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment
- Flexibility to adapt to individual needs and preferences
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to foster independence
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to ensure member well-being

- 21yrs or older with a valid drivers license
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance ID Card
- Article 9
- CPR/ First Aid
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 per hour
