What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Head Start Home Visitor position at Child Development Services Lakeshore Head Start?
The Early Head Start Home Visitor is responsible for implementing the Early Head Start Home-based program including home visits and socializations. This position is responsible for lesson planning, guiding parents as their children’s first teacher, maintaining accurate documentation and assisting families in ensuring their needs are met.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent with a home-based Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or comparable credential or equivalent coursework as part of an associate degree is required
- A bachelor’s degree in social work, early childhood education, or other human services field is preferred
- Completion of the Parents As Teachers (PAT) certification within 6 months of hire is required
Schedule: 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday year-round
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.54 - $22.89 per hour
