What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at Child & Family Resources?
The Program Coordinator will support the Program Director and programs in all aspects of community engagement, program/department marketing, curriculum delivery, the implementation, evaluation, and growth of the Prevention Programs for Youth department
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversees and trains program interns/volunteers as appropriate.
- Develops content for community workshops with Director Approval as appropriate.
- Maintains and updates Marketing and Outreach Plan as needed to engage youth, parents, and community.
- Provides ongoing support to the Program Director and program staff including preparing and editing presentations, marketing materials, analyzing and compiling data, and creating reports.
- Schedules and coordinates meetings and implementations including notification of attendees, preparing and distributing agendas, securing facilities, and ordering food and supplies.
- Oversee maintenance and organization of program implementation supplies.
- Coordinates participant recruitment for workshops and programming.
- Develops, coordinates and maintains program documents, lists, forms, calendars and schedules.
- Assists with special projects and program-related tasks as needed.
- Interacts with all program, departmental and agency stakeholders.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings and trainings.
- Develops, coordinates and works with the Youth Advisory Councils (as appropriate)
- Assists with streamlining procedures for effectiveness, contract compliance and program fidelity.
- Assists Program Director in all funder and agency reports.
- Assists with data research during grant writing periods (as appropriate).
- Assists with building relationships with current and potential partners for successful implementation and growth.
- Coordinates and maintain program data collection within salesforce.
- Coordinates and conduct Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
- Some evening/weekend work and In and/or Out-of-State travel.
- Identifies potential barriers to ongoing program implementation.
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, welcoming, and supportive environment for both youth and adults while using a trauma informed approach.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
- Knowledge of adolescent development and effective prevention strategies in the fields of suicide, substance misuse, school dropout, and violence including bullying preferred.
- Knowledge of sexual health, trauma informed approaches, positive youth development, youth friendly referrals, classroom management, LBGTQIA Inclusivity, Mandatory Reporting, and other components critical to providing a safe and supportive environment for youth preferred.
- Ability to participate in community events, activities, and conferences, as needed and provide support with recruitment, tabling, and attending recruitment opportunities as needed.
- Experience teaching or working with youth groups and in adult education.
- Flexibility and strong communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong Computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Office Suite (Drive and Classroom).
- Flexible, detail oriented and well organized.
- Location: Must be able to provide direct service to designated client base in Southern Arizona i.e Pima, Gila, La Paz, Yuma Graham and Greenlee counties.
- Maintain a functional and safe home working space with adequate internet connection for the job.
- Comply with all agency and program policies and procedures including confidentiality, employee conduct, computer usage and dress code.
- Meet program/department’s performance and productivity standards.
- Attend required agency and program/department meetings.
- Adhere to the schedule agreed upon with the Director.
- Follow and model CFR’s core values.
- Participate in PQI initiatives.
- Must be eligible and able to obtain a Level one fingerprint card.
- Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, vehicle and meet agency liability insurance requirements.

ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Sitting for extended periods of time daily; standing and walking short distances.
- Moderate twisting, bending, stooping and lifting up to 40 pounds in the performance of assigned duties.
- Ability to use a variety of office equipment and machines as referenced.
- Normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination required.
- Repeated hand-wrist movement required.
- The Pay Rate for this position starts at $18.70-$20.70 per hour.
- The nature of the position involves a fast-paced working environment with multitasking of many different duties and tasks. General daily priorities may change at a moment’s notice and the position requires quick response time and flexibility.
