Child & Family Services is looking to hire Master's Level Clinicians for a variety of different programs at our 2 New Bedford, MA locations.


  • Outpatient/School-Based Clinician / $5000 Sign-On Bonus! (half at 3 months; half at 6 months): The Clinician provides consistent, high-quality care and psychotherapy through an array of evidence-based, culturally competent, person and family-centered treatment. These services are provided in a variety of different settings including but not limited to outpatient clinic, school, and the community.


  • In Home Therapy Clinician / $3000 Sign-On Bonus! (half at 3 months; half at 6 months): In-Home Therapy (IHT) is a structured, consistent, strengths-based therapeutic relationship between a clinician and the youth and family for the purpose of meeting the youth’s behavioral health needs, including improving the family’s ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote his/her/their healthy functioning within the family. Interventions are designed to enhance the family’s capacity to improve the youth’s functioning in the home and community and may prevent the need for the youth’s admission to an inpatient hospital, residential treatment facility or other treatment setting.


  • Mobile Crisis Clinician (Overnight Shift Differentials): We are looking to onboard passionate and motivated Master's level Clinicians for our Adult/Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention (A/YMCI) Program located at our Church Street office. A/YMCI is an exciting and challenging program. These are great positions for recent Master's level graduates looking to hone their skills or the seasoned veteran looking for a challenge. MCI Clinicians are hourly employees with an hourly base rate, plus competitive shift differentials. There are great incentives for overtime and holiday pay!


  • Empowering Families for Success Clinician: Empowering Families for Success (EFS) is a non-billable program funded by the Department of Mental Health (DMH) Child, Youth and Family Division to provide in-home outreach clinical services. The EFS Program works with families and youth ages 0-22 with acute mental health needs approved for DMH flexible support services. Clinicians will provide in- home and community-based clinical interventions that support the youth and family in achieving specific treatment goals that lead to improved functioning in identified areas of their life. All clinical interventions are designed to prevent out-of-home placement through enhancing emotional well-being, self-regulation, symptom management, social skills, family resiliency, and self-efficacy in response to challenges posed by severe emotional disturbance, peers, school, and associated stressors on the family system. Clinical services are coherent and integrated with other services and supports in the life of a DMH involved Youth.

$1 per hour Language Differential! (eligible languages include: Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish or ASL) Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply!

Qualifications:

  • Masters level degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work or a related field from an accredited educational institution
  • License Eligible or Licensed (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC-I) - NEW GRADUATES WELCOME!
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel between school and office location
