As our Marketing Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of sharing The Up Center’s story with our community and stakeholders, building awareness and engagement through strategic marketing and communications. Reporting to the President & CEO, you’ll lead the charge in crafting and executing initiatives that resonate with our donors, clients, and partners and amplify our mission. In this role, you’ll have the creative freedom to implement high-impact strategies and inspire community-wide support for life-changing services.
What You’ll Do :
Strategic Planning : Lead the creation of a multi-year marketing and communications plan, positioning The Up Center as a premier agency in behavioral health and family support.
Campaign Leadership : Develop and drive our annual marketing strategy, from fundraising campaigns to digital outreach, ensuring cohesive, impactful branding across all platforms that attract new referrals and grow donations.
Content Creation : Oversee the production of engaging materials, including videos, press releases, social media, and newsletters, while managing social media and traditional media calendars to drive community engagement, referral inquiries, and support for our mission.
Website Oversight and Management : Maintain and optimize the agency’s website as a central platform for engagement, ensuring it effectively communicates our mission, programs, and impact. Regularly update content, enhance user experience, and implement SEO strategies to drive traffic, generate referrals, and support donation campaigns.
Media Relations : Build and foster strong relationships with media outlets to increase coverage that raises awareness, generates referrals, and supports fundraising goals. Act as a key point of contact for media inquiries, develop effective press releases, and coordinate interviews and stories that showcase our work.
Collaborative Partnerships : Work closely with program leaders, the Board, and community partners to amplify our impact, advocate for the people we serve, and drive referral and donation outcomes.
Team Leadership : Lead, inspire, and develop a small marketing team, providing mentorship and support to achieve strategic goals, including measurable increases in referrals and donations, and bring innovative ideas to life.
Vendor Identification and Management : Identify, select, and manage vendors for creative, digital, and media projects, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery of all materials and services.
Budget Oversight : Collaborate with leadership on budget management to bring marketing initiatives to life in a financially sustainable way.
Performance Tracking : Use data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns in generating referrals and donations. Track and analyze outcomes to refine strategies, optimize reach, and enhance engagement and support for our mission.
Requirements :
What We’re Looking For :
Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, with at least 5 years of proven success in marketing and media relations.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Adobe Suite, content management systems, social media, and digital media strategy. Strong experience in press release writing, copywriting, and managing marketing campaigns across diverse platforms.
Creative Leadership : A visionary thinker who brings fresh ideas and can lead projects independently from concept through to completion. You have a knack for inspiring a small team to reach ambitious goals.
