Tasks include operating a computer for extended periods, communicating with colleagues, and occasional lifting of office/department materials up to 25lbs. You will provide support to the Foster Care program, including but not limited to, data entry into appropriate systems, supply ordering, and clerical support.
Your Main Priorities
While additional responsibilities are likely to arise on the job, you will primarily:
- Provide clerical support to all aspects of the program, i.e., filing, faxing, correspondences, etc.
- Coordinate and schedules of committee meetings and other meetings as needed.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports for the program.
- Prepare information for programs and other promotional materials timely and accurately.
- Maintain daily Foster Care program census for accuracy and submits to Finance weekly for invoicing.
- Coordinate building maintenance issues and provide support as needed to agency personnel.
Who You Are
Requirements, Skills & Abilities:
- Associate degree in business administration or related field or a combination of education and experience deem equivalent required.
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in customer service required.
- Experience working in human services or nonprofit preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
- Collaboration and teamwork.
- The ideal candidate will be required to meet all background checks and medical clearances required for the position.
