Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Floater to join our team in a dynamic childcare environment. The Floater will play a crucial role in supporting classroom activities and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere for children. This position requires flexibility, as the Floater will assist in various classrooms, adapting to the needs of different age groups and educational settings.

Duties

• Provide supervision and care for children in various classrooms, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation, including engaging children in educational activities.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment and addressing behavioral issues as they arise.
• Facilitate early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support in their development.
• Help with daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, and transitions between activities.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative community atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and play areas.

Experience
Ideal candidates will possess experience or skills in the following areas:

• Preschool education or related fields
• Classroom management techniques
• Early intervention strategies for child development
• Tutoring or providing educational support to children
• Toddler care and general childcare practices
• Lesson planning tailored to various age groups
• Basic math skills to support children's learning

Candidates should have a passion for working with children and be prepared to adapt to different classroom environments while providing exceptional care and support.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 8 per week
