DAY TO DAY AS A PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER As a new Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Child Health Associates, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications under the supervision of our experienced pediatricians. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to our young patients, educate families on health maintenance and disease prevention, and ensure medical records are accurately maintained. Additionally, you will participate in staff meetings, continuing education programs, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance your clinical skills and contribute to the overall success of our practice.
In this role, you will also participate in a rotation between our primary care offices and our dedicated pediatric urgent care clinic, which serves our patients exclusively. This unique setup allows you to provide continuity of care while addressing both routine and urgent medical needs for children in our community.
