The part-time Program Coordinator is the first point of contact for families seeking Parent Support Services. Duties include scheduling appointments with our parent educators and tracking client progress through the program. Well qualified candidates must be Bilingual (Spanish/English), have knowledge of trauma-informed practices and have strong computer skills, phone communication skills, attention to detail and a customer service and hospitality mindset. This position works 20 hours per week at our Santa Rosa location. Flexible hours available.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Experience with data collection and generating reports.
  • At least one year of experience working or volunteering in a human services position working with vulnerable populations.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with diverse populations, utilizing culturally competent, strength-based strategies.
  • Positively represent CPI to clients, employees, and other community providers.
  • Use patience and tolerance in meeting families at their current developmental stage.
  • Maintain willingness to take on additional tasks and remain flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to perform in a busy office environment, be comfortable multi-tasking
  • Must be a self-starter, able to take initiative to identify problems, develop systems as needed
  • Experienced software user, specifically with Google suite, Zoom, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Willingness to work in unfamiliar databases.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Enter new referrals into a data tracking spreadsheet and contact new clients within 3 business days.
  • Maintain data for in-home parent support services in various trackers and databases and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on client progress.
  • Coordinate case assignments to maintain full caseloads for all parent educators and manage a waitlist when needed.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies and providers to ensure community access to Parent Support Services.
  • Respond to community requests for service information and enrollment.
  • Support Parent Support staff with program materials, technology, and common questions.
  • Help to schedule and prepare content for staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Attend community meetings and outreach events as assigned by Program Manager.
  • Translate material from English to Spanish as requested.
  • Assist the Parent Support Manager and Deputy Director as requested.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs (supplies)
  • Prolonged sitting and working on a computer and telephone.
