Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a Contract Therapist for children, teens, and family at Child Parent Relationship Training. The role is located in Denton, TX with the opportunity for some remote work. Day-to-day tasks include providing therapy sessions for children and teens, conducting family therapy sessions, and working collaboratively with parents to improve parent-child relationships.
Qualifications
- Experience in providing therapy for children, teens, and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of play therapy techniques
- Ability to establish firm limits and connect emotionally with clients
- Understanding of family dynamics and relationships
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Licensure as a therapist in Texas
- Experience in working with diverse populations is a plus
