Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques and appropriate discipline strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
- Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages social interaction among children.
Qualifications
- Experience in a childcare Center is required
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children.
- Ability to provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in responding to the needs of children.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
