Job Title : Preschool Teacher
Job Summary
The Preschool Teacher for 3-year-olds is responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. This role involves planning and implementing activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while fostering creativity and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities :
Classroom Management :Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures to maintain order in the classroom.Curriculum Planning and Implementation :Design and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones.
Incorporate activities that promote literacy, numeracy, and social skills.Encourage creative expression through art, music, storytelling, and play.Child Development :Monitor and assess children's progress and development.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and interests of each child.Support the emotional well-being of children by fostering positive relationships and promoting self-esteem.Communication and Collaboration :Maintain open communication with parents / guardians regarding their child’s progress, needs, and any concerns.
Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach.Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.Health and Safety :Follow all health and safety guidelines, including emergency protocols.
Assist children with basic needs such as eating, toileting, and hygiene as necessary.Recognize and address signs of illness or developmental concerns.Qualifications :
Education : CDA, (or working toward completion) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related fieldExperience : 2-3 yrs Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.Skills :Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.Ability to design engaging activities that align with developmental milestones.Certifications : CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Salary : $14 - $16
