Local caterer looking for Experienced Chef to run our Childcare Food Service Program.
Our hours of operation are 5am-2pm Monday thru Friday. NO WEEKENDS.
We provide "meaningful meals" to hundreds of little ones all over Northeast Ohio, and we are continuing our growth and looking for someone that shares our same commitment to providing the very best Fresh, Healthy, and Delicious meals to our customers.
Qualifications:
- Creating and developing new menu items, dishes, products and recipe writing
- Managing, Training, and Motivating kitchen staff
- Maintaining proper food and labor costs
- Inventory control and tracking, menu pricing and costing
- Ensure standards of production and efficiency.
- High Volume cooking experience
- Experience with Large Kettles, Tilt Skillets, processing equipment, etc.
- Team oriented with a great personality to work in an open kitchen
- Work well under pressure in a high volume environment
- Able to take charge of all back of the house operations
- Place emphasis on cleanliness and organization
-Strong problem solving skills
- Knowledge of the principles of HACCP or willingness to go to training classes
