Childplace Youth Worker
You will be responsible for supervising, assisting, and providing intervention (as needed) for youth (ages 10-20) in one of Childplace's Residential Treatment programs (serving adolescents with histories of trauma, behavioral issues, and emotional challenges). The role includes helping them with learning activities, meal time, recreation, hygiene, and therapeutic activities.
Compensation
Starting pay for the role is $15.00/hour; Second Shift Pay (Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm) is $17.00/hour; Weekend pay (Friday 11pm to Sunday 11pm) is $19/hour.
Full Details: Starting base rate is $15.00/hour (may increase based on education and applicable experience); 2nd shift differential is additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday; Weekend shift differential is additional $4.00 per hour for hours worked 11pm Friday through 11pm on Sunday.
-Childplace reimburses Kentucky residents for tolls.
Current Open Shifts
Part-time openings for 2-4 shifts per week on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and/or Mondays for Jeffersonville campus. Average pay for these shifts is $18.00/hour.

Qualifications

Upon hire, candidates will need to complete a tb screening, basic employment physical, and drug screen, in addition to a driving record search to determine eligibility to be placed on the agency's auto insurance.
Job Responsibilities
A person in this role will be responsible for supervising between 1 and 4 residents (depending on the resident's needs) as those residents complete daily living activities. The Youth Worker is responsible for modeling positive relationships skills, following the outlined schedule/program, and assisting residents as they complete their program, including chores, schoolwork, hygiene, meals, recreation, and therapeutic activities. When needed, the Youth Worker will be expected to intervene to correct behaviors, according to an outlined treatment plan.
The Youth Worker will be working alongside other caregivers responsible for supervising residents, along with clinical and supervisory staff who can assist and intervene as necessary. Additional responsibilities include medication distribution (after required training) and documentation each shift.
No experience necessary; all training is provided.
