Children Achieving Maximum Potential, Inc. (ChAMP) is seeking highly qualified, passionate professionals to work as Family Consultants for families of children/teens /young adults with autism.
The mission of Children Achieving Maximum Potential, Inc. (ChAMP) is to provide individuals with autism and related disorders comprehensive science-based treatments through intensive individualized instruction. Our goal is for individuals with autism and related disorders to learn to communicate effectively, become increasingly independent, interact appropriately with others in the community and their home, enjoy their learning experiences, and to be treated with respect, courtesy and dignity.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Scheduling Family Consultation sessions with families directly.
- Meeting with families in their homes on an ongoing basis to provide strategies and support for their child's individualized needs.
- Supervising the IISS therapists working with the clients (at least quarterly), providing feedback and support as needed with documentation.
- Developing/Updating the client's individualized Treatment Plan with specific goals and objectives.
- Monitoring progress through discussion with families and IISS therapists, and documenting progress on the Treatment Plan at least every 6 months.
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, OR a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Psychology or a related field AND five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Must pass a fingerprint supported criminal background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Must maintain professional behavior/confidentiality.
- Must have a passion for working with children/adolescents with special needs and their families.
- Must be willing to take direction, training, and implement feedback as given by ChAMP.
- Must have strong written communication skills.
- Must have access to a computer, printer, and scanner.
- Must be able to use Google Drive/Google Docs to update client documents.
- Must be able to write measurable goals and objectives that are client-specific.
- Must have experience monitoring progress through data-keeping & team discussions.
- Must be able to consistently meet paperwork submission deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working closely with families of children with Autism or special needs.
- Experience with adolescents or young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
- Candidates with an interest and background in Behavioral Science and Positive Behavior Support Strategies are particularly encouraged to apply!

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
