Our top-rated private preschool is seeking an experienced, dedicated and loving individual to assist with our Pre-K classroom (Ages 4-5), in our team-teaching environment. This is a year-round position.

Children Central has been proudly serving Langhorne, Yardley, and neighboring areas since 1992. Teacher Responsibilities:

• Make the day a LOT OF FUN for our children!
• Prepare the class well for kindergarten both academically and socially.
• Work closely with the other educators in the classroom to create a very nurturing, loving and caring environment
• Develop a creative, fun and entertaining program suitable for the Pre-K class by following the professional curriculum called Funnydaffer.
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, singing, dancing, art projects, etc.) to teach the students.
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional conflicts.
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and DHS safety standards.
• Document daily activities on the app; take photos and videos to send to families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a preschool or early childhood setting
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with young children and their parents
• Proficiency in lesson planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities
• Experience in classroom management and creating a nurturing learning environment
• Familiarity with early childhood education curriculum development and best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
