Description

We are looking for a licensed behavioral health clinician to join our supportive behavioral health team and provide professional therapy and counseling to individuals, groups, and families under the guidance of a clinical supervisor. This is a salaried, exempt position with paid time off and insurance benefits.

The impactful work you'll be doing:
- Provide professional, trauma-informed therapy to clients of all ages, in line with program guidelines and policies. This includes ongoing in-office therapy/counseling for individuals, families, and groups to address issues driving treatment.
- Ensure all necessary record-keeping and reporting are completed to meet agency and external requirements. This includes developing and maintaining goal-oriented treatment plans, coordinating with other agencies, and documenting therapy notes and discharge summaries to track progress and ensure quality care.
- Collaborate on clinical aspects of assigned programs to ensure smooth facilitation.
- Assess the need for and coordinate community resources and referrals to support clients in achieving therapy goals.
- Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and training sessions to foster professional growth.
- Engage in consistent case consultation to provide the most effective treatment.
- Clinicians are expected to work at least one evening per week to increase client availability and maintain a caseload that meets a minimum of 25 billable hours per week.

Requirements
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field, with experience in family and individual counseling. A solid understanding of human dynamics and trauma-informed care is required, or a willingness to receive training. Must be licensed or soon to be licensed in Iowa.
