What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric COTA or OT position at Children in Motion Therapy Services LLC?
We are looking for an occupational therapy practitioner (COTA) or occupational therapist to help us provide occupational therapy services to our families in Sandy Springs. Currently we need someone who can either a) see kiddos at our clinic in the afternoons typically 3 - 6, b) see kiddos at schools in the mornings typically 9 - 11/12, or c) both! We encourage applicants to apply even if their availability doesn't perfectly align with the listed hours. Looking to hire as soon as possible. Right now the position is part time, but our caseload is growing quickly, so more hours will come available.
Responsibilities
- Implement individual treatment plans
- Develop fun & novel activities to meet client’s individual goals
- Communicate with parents during/after therapy sessions to provide summary of what was worked on during the session & to share any progress updates or recommendations for what to work on outside of therapy
- Contribute to ongoing assessments & update treatment plans
- Contribute to the development and implementation of groups including gross motor, fine motor, and sensory groups
Must Haves
- Have Georgia licensure
- Afternoon availability, or morning availability
- Have a reliable way to get to work
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Experience working with children

About the Company
At Children In Motion we provide pediatric occupational therapy services to children throughout the metro Atlanta area. Our specialization is in the diagnosis & treatment of sensory processing challenges, however we use our ‘sensory lens’ to help children overcome a variety of challenges.
We are grateful to support children at a handful of schools in the area, in addition to providing services at our new clinic located in Sandy Springs.
