We seek a motivated and organized Intern Work Program Coordinator to oversee our internship program, ensuring interns receive valuable hands-on experience while supporting our mission.
Position Overview
The Intern Work Program Coordinator will recruit, train, and supervise interns while ensuring compliance with all background checks and licensing requirements. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to align intern responsibilities with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel daily to intern worksites to provide oversight and support.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage interns, ensuring they receive proper orientation and training.
- Develop and oversee intern schedules, assignments, and daily activities.
- Ensure all interns meet compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of intern participation, progress, and evaluations.
- Collaborate with various departments to align intern responsibilities with program objectives.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and ongoing support to interns.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, including driver’s license verification, is completed and up to date.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures to enhance the internship program.
- Address and resolve any intern-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
