Montessori Teacher: ELEMENTARY I

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Montessori teacher with AMS credentials to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, promoting literacy and math skills, and utilizing Montessori teaching methods to engage students. This role requires a commitment to the academic and social development of each child, ensuring they reach their full potential.

Duties

• Observe students, identifying their needs and responding with appropriate individualized guidance and instruction
• Challenge each child to reach his/her fullest potential academically, emotionally, and physically in a prepared Montessori environment
• Preparation of activity and project materials, maintaining the inventory of the classroom, and composing regular classroom communications to parents and guardians
• Participate in ongoing professional development
• Attend all required faculty and team meetings

Requirements

• Montessori Certification through AMS, ELEMENTARY I is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in early childhood or related field
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in teams with a wide range of individuals
• Passionate about helping children reach their potential
