Job Description Summary:
Are you an IT professional or computer savvy as a hobby? Do you enjoy volunteering or are you looking to start your first volunteer opportunity and want to make an impact for Children?
If so, Children of the Nations might have the perfect opportunity for you as a Volunteer in our IT and Resource department on our Silverdale campus. We are in need of a few people to help prepare donated laptops to send to our staff and children in Africa, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
Job Description Detail:
You are a great candidate for this Volunteer position if you have:
- time outside of a full-time job to volunteer (if you are between jobs and actively searching for a full-time job, this volunteer role might not be for you) and can commit to this volunteer role for at least 3-6 months.
- experience with installing Windows and Updates for Windows 10 or 11
- experience with custom installation of software in a software wizard to install optional language packs. (Libre Office)
- experience removing unwanted software
- ability to monitor 4-5 laptops at once doing the same updates

Compensation
- Volunteer position, approximately 2-6 hours per week, Monday and Wednesday, between 9am-5pm M-F, onsite in Silverdale Washington.
- All hours served can count as community service hours and have potential to be used to fulfill college credit requirements.
