Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
  • Provide individualized attention to students, including those with disabilities or special needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student growth.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
  • Incorporate first aid procedures as needed to ensure the health and safety of all students.
  • Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in education.
  • Ability to educate students effectively while managing diverse learning needs.
  • Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory at the time of hire.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.

Pay: $12.72 - $13.09 per hour
