Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
- Provide individualized attention to students, including those with disabilities or special needs.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student growth.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Incorporate first aid procedures as needed to ensure the health and safety of all students.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in education.
- Ability to educate students effectively while managing diverse learning needs.
- Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory at the time of hire.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
