The Children’s Advocacy Center of SW Florida (CAC) is a busy non-profit agency located in Fort Myers serving Lee, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades Counties.

At CAC, we offer abuse determination services for children as well as therapeutic counseling, parenting education, and prevention programs.

CAC is seeking a qualified full-time Marketing and Branding Coordinator. The position will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the brand integrated marketing plan.

This position will work closely with the Chief Development Officer on strategies and long-term branding goals.

General Responsibilities (full job description will be provided upon interview) :

  • Assist in the development and execution of brand integrated marketing plan.
  • This position will be held accountable for the execution of specific brand activities within the integrated marketing plan (e.

g. media plan, promotional activities, website branding, individual department marketing, etc.), ensuring consistency with brand strategy and brand communication plan.

  • Assist the execution of the day-to-day operational branding activities, assisting in the management of P&L and marketing budget while identifying changes impacting the budget and proactively communicating implications and recommendations to the Chief Development Officer.
  • Assist in the launch of the new CAC SWFL logo and mission, ensuring a smooth transition to the rebranding across all materials and channels.
  • Assist in the development and execute strategies to maintain and grow the brand’s presence, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visuals.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer to define long-term branding goals.
  • Website and social media management.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) that aligns with the organization's mission, values, and rebranding initiatives.
  • Manage and grow the social media presence of CAC SWFL, building a community of supporters and advocates.
  • Monitor engagement and provide reports on social media performance to continuously improve the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Develop marketing collateral (flyers, brochures, posters, banners, etc.) for community outreach, programs, and events.
  • Ensure that all promotional materials adhere to the organization’s branding guidelines.
  • Assist in producing digital assets for email campaigns, website updates, and other promotional needs.
  • Support fundraising campaigns and events by developing promotional materials and digital content to drive participation and awareness.

Work with the CDO and CEO to promote fundraising events through marketing channels, including social media, email newsletters, and local outreach.

  • Assist with the creation and distribution of post-event materials (thank you notes, event recaps, and follow-up communications).
  • Help develop partnerships with local businesses, schools, and organizations to increase brand visibility and raise awareness of CAC SWFL’s services.
  • Support the creation of community-based marketing strategies to enhance engagement with donors, volunteers, and the public.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education an d / or Work Experience Requirements :

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, human services, or non profit related field is preferred, but not required.

A combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • 2 years of experience in marketing, branding, or communications, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to create consistent and compelling messaging.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of fundraising marketing strategies is a plus.

Must pass Level II background check.
