Children's Aid Society is seeking a committed and passionate Family / Child Support Associate to care for children in our Crisis Nursery / Respite Care Center.
Typical Schedule: Varies, dayshift 6:45 am - 7:00 pm 3 days per week with a weekend rotation

You will:

- Provide primary physical, emotional and social needs care for children
- Develop and lead children's play group activities while keeping children positively engaged in developmentally appropriate activities
- Act as a positive role model utilizing appropriate methods of redirection and principles of positive reinforcement
- Write descriptive and comprehensive progress notes, phone call logs, activities and reports
- Conduct intakes and discharges, as needed, and respond to 24-hour crisis hotline calls
- Attend 40 hours of paid training each year to refresh or enhance your skills
Required Education/Experience:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED; Preferred: Associate Degree
- 2 years of verifiable, paid childcare experience
- Satisfactory Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Background Check, FBI Criminal Background Check and National Sex Offender Registry check
- Childcare Certificate or Education preferred but not required
