Position Summary : Responsible for assisting the Director of Workforce Development in the adolescent employment programs which include the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) and Work, Learn & Grow. Conduct weekly in-person worksite visits, to ensure a successful employment program for our youth and worksites.
Essential Duties : Under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Worksite Monitor's responsibilities include the following :
- Maintain knowledge of all DYCD and Children's Aid trainings and changes.
- Provide support throughout the different phases of the summer including but not limited to : weekly in-person interviews with youth and supervisors, collection and processing of participant payroll accurately and promptly, maintaining organized files, and data management.
- Provide great customer service to worksite supervisors, parent and participant inquiries to effectively resolve concerns regarding payroll, placement, and / or other program policies and procedures. Identify, collect details, and report any issues / concerns that require the input of the supervisor and director.
- Support internal audits for all employment program files and documents in preparation for yearly City and State audits.
