- Children's Aid is a national leader in the field of child social services, providing solutions to ensure young people who live in poverty have the tools they need to learn, grow, and become the leaders of their own lives. Our efforts have become ever more crucial, as NYC's families face overlapping challenges, post-pandemic. We seek a dedicated grant writer to join the Institutional Giving team and ensure the agency has the resources it needs to meet a heightened demand for services.
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage donor and prospect relationships by creating compelling, outcomes-driven, and client-ready letters of inquiry, proposals, reports, and other correspondence for a diverse audience of foundation and other funders. The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer and communicator and possess strong organizational and planning skills. This position will report to the Associate Director of Institutional Giving. This is an opportunity to serve as a member of an ambitious department, grow fundraising skills by working with sophisticated funding audiences, and make a difference in the lives of children and youth.

This position has a hybrid work schedule. The salary range is $65,000-$75,000.
