As a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist , you will play a critical role in helping families access essential therapy services by managing insurance claims, Medicaid and private insurance billing, and ensuring that claims are processed accurately and efficiently . Your work will directly impact our ability to provide care to children who rely on these services for their growth and development.
What You’ll Do :
- Manage insurance billing for Medicaid, private insurances, and other funding sources.
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits before services are rendered.
- Submit claims in a timely and accurate manner to ensure prompt reimbursement.
- Follow up on denied or rejected claims , identifying and correcting errors to maximize approval rates.
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Work closely with families to explain billing details, assist with financial questions, and provide clarity on insurance coverage.
- Maintain accurate financial records , process payments, and track outstanding balances.
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and company policies.
