Job Summary
Currently seeking outgoing, fun, passionate people with a love for learning, to engage and teach children ages 6 weeks - 12 years. Previous experience with children in a formal school setting preferred, but not required. Thorough onsite job training, CPR and first aide provided. Fingerprinting background and CPS check required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing and educating young children in a supportive and engaging environment. This role requires a commitment to fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child, while implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning through play.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assess and monitor children's progress through observation and documentation, providing feedback to parents on their child's development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for students.
- Utilize early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Provide individualized tutoring sessions as needed to enhance literacy education and math skills.
- Participate in curriculum development to ensure it meets the needs of all learners, including those requiring special education services.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
