What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation (Small Bus/Van) Drivers position at Children's Center of Monmouth County?
The Children's Center of Monmouth County and its Adult Day Program has Part-Time opportunities as a small bus/van driver(s). We are seeking individuals with a "P" endorsement. We are both a School for Special Needs Children and an Adult Day Program. Many of our drivers have been with us for over a decade.

Our part-time bus driving opportunities are from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and/or 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
If you can commit to only one of these times that may be fine also. Our busses are the mid-size and smaller types. We are looking for individuals to transport our participants to and from their residences beginning from our beautiful ten (10) acre campus. All you need is to at the minimum:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a current New Jersey driver license
- Have a safe driving record
- Have at least 20/40 vision in each eye (with or without corrective lenses)
- Have 70 degrees of peripheral vision in each eye
- Be able to recognize red, green, and amber colors
- Pass a background investigation and other vetting requirements
- Be physically able to do the job
- Possess a "P" endorsement
If you have a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL), that is GREAT!!.
