What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Headstart Mentor Teacher / Coach position at Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana?
The EHS Mentor Coach is responsible for observing and assessing the infant / toddler classroom activities and providing on-the-job guidance and training to Early Head Start program staff to improve the services and support the development of center staff.
Requirements :
- Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field of study, such as Special Education, Child Development, Psychology
- Self-directed and multitask oriented.
- Ability to work as a team member, collaborating with colleagues as part of the Early Head Start Management team.
- Skills in providing training to Early Head Start direct service staff and assist staff in creating professional goals and action steps to reach goals in order to improve services to infants / toddlers
- Required to obtain Infant CLASS certification, Toddler CLASS certification, knowledge of infant / toddler curriculum, and social / emotional curriculum
Responsibilities :
Salary Range : $ 19.00- $22.00 per hour
