What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapeutic Transportation Aide – Therapeutic Nursery position at Children's Crisis Treatment Center?
A therapeutic aide on the transport van for the Therapeutic Nursery that serves children ages 2 ½ to 5 presenting with crisis and behavioral health issues.
Responsibilities include;
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or Associates degree.
At least 1-year of verified paid work experience with children.
Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants strongly encouraged to apply.
Covid-19 vaccination required.
Responsibilities include;
- Riding the van and assuring safe and orderly rides
- Assisting children with seating, assistive devices, safety and behavioral concerns using a trauma-informed framework
- Providing the driver, and a second aide, with support as needed, both during routine activities and during emergencies to ensure a safe journey for our children.
