What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reservations / Admin Assistant position at Children's Discovery Center?
The Reservations / Admin Assistant position will coordinate the bookings for all Discovery Center programs such as Discovery Camps, school groups, birthday parties, workshops and special events. The Reservations / Admin Assistant will work closely with the Director of Education to ensure timely processing of bookings, invoicing and sending confirmations. This position also requires being a back up for our reception desk helping with ticket and membership sales. This position is part-time, but opportunities for growth. Work on weekends and holidays may be required.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Assists customers with questions and reservation requests.
· Process all Center bookings, changes and cancellations.
· Manage reservations to ensure all reservations are confirmed and payment received.
· Accurately process deposits and payments.
· Answer phones courteously and efficiently.
· Be knowledgeable and up to date on all Center events and programs.
· Coordinates Center events calendar
· Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
