Summary :
Implement strategies and processes that evaluate work for acceptability and compliance with regulatory, safety, quality and productivity standards.Responsible for providing oversight of the day to day operations of the assigned Laboratory section by ensuring technical excellence while actively promoting a Lean work culture.Ensure standard work and continual process improvement in accordance with CMC policies and procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Gather information regarding incidents, complaints and other situations and assist manager in investigations and resolutions using tools to seek solutions and improvements.
- Perform daily oversight of Lean work environment while ensuring adherence to Lean Principles and processes. Perform standard work and metric reviews, audits and gemba walks.
- Investigate and helps implement ideas which represent improvements.
- Update procedures and write new protocols. Competency checks for med techs and assays in Lab. Interview new applicants.
- Assist manager in developing section goals aligned with division and hospital goals and objectives.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.
