Summary :
The Outpatient Operations Integration Specialist works directly with Ambulatory Service Representative (ASR) staff in newly acquired practices and / or new hire ASR staff to assimilate Children's Health processes into workflows where appropriate. Consistently demonstrates the core values of Children's Health and serves as a role model to other employees. Serves as primary ASR preceptor at the practice to provide resources and education to validate competencies.
Responsibilities :
- Works closely with outpatient operational leadership, medical directors, physician providers and other clinical staff in a collaborative approach to drive excellence in service and clinical care, optimal outcomes, and efficient resource utilization.
- Uses technical experience based on ASR skills acquired through formal and informal experiential knowledge to model, develop and support ASR processes
- Serves as primary ASR preceptor for outpatient operations and provides resources, education, and validation of competencies
- Provides virtual and / or on-site support, as needed, to newly acquired practices and newly hired team members, to provide continuity of information and serve as a consistent resource for ASR workflows
- Observes and evaluates ASR staff to learn current workflows and provides input on workflow development, process improvement and implementation
- Clearly communicates any all recommendations, changes in workflows and / or organizational system updates to all key stakeholders
- Works with leaders and other team members to achieve organizational initiatives, e.g., Epic upgrade projects, etc., and other duties as assigned
