Summary
This position is responsible for facilitating patient services within Radiology to ensure patients are seen in as timely a manner as possible by maintaining awareness of total patient load, departmental issues and priorities. This includes working with the Anesthesia team to coordinate the supplies and equipment necessary, setting up the room, and cleaning/turnover of the room after the procedure. This position reports to the team lead or manager.

This position reports to the team lead or manager.
Responsibilities
- Monitor flow of procedures / exams; prepare the next patient; assist technical staff with set-up and completion of exams.
- Monitor patient service within the department before, during and after a procedure / exam. Establish service priorities based on needs and coordinate with other staff to ensure services are delivered according to priorities.
- Greet patients / families in the waiting room; prepare the patient for exam and escort the patient to the exam room.
- Assist in room breakdown, to include removal and cleaning of equipment and supplies from room.
- Stocking supplies in operating rooms.
- Assist with patient transports (as needed).
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Director or Medical Director.
- High school diploma or equivalent Req
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Requirements Req
