Summary
This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating fundraising projects, for the Foundation Advancement Team. This position helps support 10 staff members with various tasks on the Advancement team which is charged with raising funds for the new pediatric campus as well as stewardship of all gifts to the foundation. This position will work closely with the AVP Deveopment on the planning, implementation and evaluation of these projects. This person will maintain a working knowledge of relevant organization policies and relevant donor database software.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accountability for assigned projects. Define timelines and manage scheduling and logistics for each project assigned. Take responsibility of each project assigned and uses judgment and discretion to make decisions in real-time in order to produce a successful event. Manage multiple schedules for multiple projects and events simultaneously. Develop, plan and implement specific development projects and program duties as assigned by AVP Deveopment or supervising program director or manager.
- Serves high profile audiences and team leadership in a variety of ways moving from project expert to project support frequently and with ease as well as taking lead in the planning and execution of administrative operations, tasks and responsibilities. Demonstrates good judgment and resourcefulness when communicating with donors and team leadership and identify when to work independently and when to work as a team, request feedback/direction, etc.
- Leadership: Provide leadership when coordinating projects or logistics for donor recognition, donor cultivation and fundraising events. Provide advice / mentoring to employees with less experience, skill or tenure. Evaluate the success of assigned projects and make recommendations for improvement. Provide input to project budgeting.
- Successfully manage and enhance vendor relationships processing payments, documenting significant information, tracking orders, deliveries, details and maintaining product inventories.
- Represent Children's in the community at relevant functions. Ability to meet physical and non-physical demands as outlined in the job description is an essential function of the job. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- At least 2 years Related experience Required
- At least 5 years Related experience Preferred
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required
