Summary
The Senior Planning Analyst, supports critical strategy and business development initiatives. The Senior Planning Analyst identifies information sources, builds complex forecasting models, and interprets data to solve complex, ambiguous challenges. The Senior Planning Analyst also proposes initial solutions to problems and supports cross-functional teams across the organization in developing the enterprise strategic plan. The Senior Planning Analyst drafts white papers and other project deliverables at the direction of function leadership. In addition, the Senior Planning Analyst is responsible for developing new reports based on market data. The individual should be highly motivated and inquisitive. Finally, the individual will work independently to drive projects and analyses forward and incorporate constructive feedback in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
- Apply rigorous analytical skills and outstanding oral/written skills to present complex analytic findings clearly and concisely
- Provide initial interpretation of data analyses and possible solutions to complex challenges
- Support organizational strategic planning and business development initiatives through data collection and research
- Perform business and market analyses and assist leadership in utilizing information to inform strategic and operational planning
- Provide decision support services by using internal and external data sources to provide insightful and actionable recommendations
- Develop new and creative ways of solving complex problems using available data resources
- Participate in special projects for leadership and others as needed
- Monitor health industry trends and contribute to whitepapers as appropriate
- Work independently to meet aggressive time frames and manage multiple analyses/projects simultaneously
- At least 1 year experience in a professional or office environment Required
- Experience in healthcare or related business field Preferred.
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required
- Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Preferred.
