Summary:
The Training Consultant I position collaborates to develop educational training plans for assigned areas by applying best learning principles to assess, design, develop, implement, and evaluate quality onboarding through continuous training experiences. This position will work in a matrixed structure to meet the needs of stakeholders through learners, leaders and program goals. In addition, this position facilitates learning in virtual, in-person and self-paced formats with responsibility for related logistics and administration. Will be responsible for collaborating on designing, organizing, and conducting training sessions that enhance the skills and knowledge within assigned areas.
Responsibilities:
Orientation and training using various learning methodologies and facilitation best practices (i.e., deliver feedback in a constructive manner that encourages self-discovery and continued learning; create a positive learning climate in which participants feel safe to try new skills; establish credibility by demonstrating familiarity with course content).
Develops and maintains education materials for successful onboarding of new staff as well as refresher and ongoing training for all staff.
Apply consulting best practices and the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) to create educational solutions for assigned projects, onboarding, as well as identified knowledge and skills gaps.
Manages the documentation of competencies in coordination with supervisory sign off
Identifies performance gaps and works with management to determine and implement appropriate solutions and interventions
Performs tasks to support compliance with any Joint Commission/CMS regulations
Serves as primary training resource for other education initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to ensure appropriate implementation for assigned areas
Manage the physical learning environment (e.g., Learning Management System enrollment/scheduling, room logistics, and selecting equipment conducive to optimal learning).
This is a full-time position.

At least 2 years job related experience Required
At least 1 year training related experience Preferred
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training beyond high school Required
Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Preferred
