Summary
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team at Children's Healthcare Associates, LLP. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and their families, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and families warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized calendar for the clinic.
- Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate staff.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and maintain confidentiality.
- Verify patient eligibility for services.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow and care delivery.
- Support the overall operations of the clinic by performing additional administrative tasks as needed.
- Schedule is 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff members.
- Familiarity with NextGen is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of insurance verification is beneficial.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Clerical skills including data entry and document management are essential.
